Ever since SELMER-Paris initiated his activity as a saxophone maker, every new model has contributed to build the Selmer saxophone legend. From the very first "model 22", then with the "Balanced Action" and "Mark VI" to the present models, a lot of efforts have been invested into the development of new instruments and the improvement of modern manufacturing technologies.

The new Selmer "SERIE III" tenor saxophone now joins the legend : it integrates many quality features of famous previous models and projects into the present musical world with a sound, a dynamic range which really make it the instrument of the greatest players.

Acousticwise, the new Selmer "SERIE III" tenor saxophone is a particularly flexible instrument ; the player is not bound to a specific sound and has the possibility to explore many sound colours according to his own conception and equipment.

A wide dynamic range provides a real pleasant playability, with a generous low register and easy subtones. An excellent overall response and perfect tuning create a close relationship between the player and the instrument, a basic condition for better expression and musicality.
